Ultimate Seasoned Cheese Crackers

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

If you’re looking for a super quick and easy snack to take to your next game day get together or tailgate party, look no further than these Ultimate Seasoned Cheese Crackers!

I’m a mom of three boys, ages 15-22, and I cannot tell you how many cheese crackers we’ve gone through in this house over the years. When they were little, it was the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers.

Then at some point the graduated to Cheez-Its. Even buying them in bulk at Costco, I could hardly keep those tasty little cheese crackers in the house.

So I knew these seasoned cheese crackers we’re going to be a huge hit around here. I was not wrong.

This is the kind of thing you start eating and don’t stop….at least I don’t. Until someone physically removes the bowl away from me. So yes, this savory snack is kind of addictive.

Ultimate Seasoned Cheese Crackers

This recipe does make a ton (because of the ravenous boy situation around here), so feel free to cut the recipe back if you need to. But don’t be surprised if you make the entire batch and they still disappear.

Any kind of cheese cracker will work here, so use your favorite. I actually like to use a variety of Cheez-Its. There are so many flavors to choose from these days.

I usually opt for a mix of the classic cheese flavor, Pepper Jack Cheese-Itz, and the Italian Four Cheese version. But like I said, there are so many flavors these days, the possibilities are almost endless.

And this recipe is so easy to throw together–it literally takes about 5 minutes, plus 15-20 more in the oven–that you won’t mind making (and eating) it again and again.

Take these Ultimate Seasoned Cheese Crackers to your next game day gathering and watch them disappear!

  • I followed your recipe to the letter, and having tried it, I feel like that was too much vegetable oil for my taste. I think I could have probably done with half as much oil. Next time I will try using 3/4 cup. Also had a thought about upping the spiciness by adding a 1/4 teaspoon of dried chipotle chili powder.

  • You said you wanted a cracker that wasn’t store bought. Yet you used store bought crackers as a base. That makes absolutely no sense. Plus you added dry ranch which is filled with artificial stuff.

It doesn’t say anywhere that I don’t want a store bought cracker. This recipe is actually just a fun way to change up store bought crackers.

      • Exactly what I’m needing to do, thanks!!
Very similar to the old oyster cracker recipe my family favors. I purchased a ‘bulk’ of generic cheese crackers, they are awfully bland. I was seeking a way to enhance the cheesey flavor, but this seasoning tip is going to help.
