Apple Spice Baked Oatmeal
This warm, hearty baked oatmeal comes together in a snap with ingredients you probably already have on hand. The perfect way to start the day on a chilly fall morning.

Servings: 6 -8 servings
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- 1 small apple diced
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
- Milk for serving (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch square pan.
In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients except nuts until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until firm. Spoon into bowls and serve with chopped nuts and/or milk, if desired.
