This cookie pie combines two favorites--pie and chocolate chip cookies, in a decadent, satisfying dessert. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream.

- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9-inch pie pan with crust and flute edge, if desired.
With an electric mixer, beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat until combined.
Stir in the salt and flour, followed by the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread batter into prepared crust.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack before slicing and serving.
