- 2 packages crescent roll sheets
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2-3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 package Sloppy Joe seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese 2 cups
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1-2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Press one crescent roll sheet into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until just golden.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain if necessary.
Stir tomato sauce, Sloppy Joe seasoning, and Italian seasoning into ground beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Spread the ground beef mixture over the pre-baked crescent roll crust. Top with the shredded cheese, then the second crescent roll sheet.
Brush the top crescent roll sheet with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
