- 1 loaf Rhodes frozen bread dough
- 1/2 cup butter very soft
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Lightly grease a non-stick loaf pan. Place frozen dough in pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for about 3 hours, or until mostly thawed.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the butter, garlic salt and Italian seasoning.
Using a pair of kitchen sheers, start at one end and cut a 1-inch wide slit into the dough, stopping about an inch from the bottom of the pan. Immediately fill the slit with about a teaspoon of the butter mixture.
Continue making slits, one inch apart, and filling with butter mixture, until you reach the end of the loaf. Spread any remaining butter mixture over the top of the dough. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
Allow to rise for another 90 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bread is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
