Farmhouse Country Salad
This simple salad is anything but simple tasting, featuring Romaine lettuce tossed with crispy bacon, tangy blue cheese and a Dijon vinaigrette, it may just become your go-to salad.

For the dressing
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the salad
- 2 heads Romaine lettuce chopped
- 6-8 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2-3 green onions sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh toasted breadcrumbs
In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until well combined and thickened. Alternately, place all the ingredients in a glass jar with a lid and shake well.
Add the salad ingredients to a large bowl. Add desired amount of dressing and toss to mix well. Serve immediately.
