One Pan Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie
This giant chocolate chip cookie is all mixed up right in a cast iron skillet. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream!

Servings: 6 -8 servings
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a 10-inch cast iron skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat and remove pan from stove.
Stir in sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Set aside to cool for 4-5 minutes.Whisk egg into pan until blended. Add flour, baking soda and salt and stir until smooth.
Fold in the chocolate chips and press dough into an even layer in the skillet. Bake until the surface is golden brown, but the center is still slightly soft, about 20-23 minutes.
