- 2 28 oz. cans baked beans or pork and beans, drained
- 5-6 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 cup Dr pepper
- 1/4 cup peach preserves
- 1/2 cup peeled finely diced peaches
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 drops liquid smoke optional
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2-3 quart baking dish or Dutch oven.
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until hot and bubbly.
