- 24 oz. cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 6 oz. chopped prosciutto
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain.
Meahwhile, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and prosciutto and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sauce is reduced slightly.
Add the cooked tortellin to the sauce and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese before serving, if desired.
