For the beef
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- Tortilla chips for serving
For the toppings
- Prepared Thai peanut sauce
- Chopped green onions
- Chopped fresh cilantro
- Sesame seeds
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
Stir in garlic, ginger, red pepper, brown sugar and soy sauce and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed.
Spoon beef over tortilla chips and top with peanut sauce, green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds.
